- Typing referral letters to hospitalconsultants or allied health professionals.
- Sending scan images onto Tricefy where our ultrasound reports are carried out. Reports are carriedout by fully qualified and accredited consultant radiologists.
- Opening letters fromhospitals and consultants. The letters could be appended to a patient’s paperfile or scanned into their electronic patient record.
- Scanning clinicalletters, radiology reports and any other documents not available in electronicformat.
- Downloading laboratoryresults performing integration of these results into the electronic patientrecord.
- Photocopying or printingdocuments for referral to consultants.
- Handling, printing,photocopying and postage of medical reports, and of associated documents.
Data Processing
For all ultrasound examinations performedat our clinic, images and limited patient information is securely transmittedthrough Tricefy, a medical imaging communication platform.
Tricefy is used solely for the purpose ofenabling a consultant radiologist to review ultrasound images and provide adiagnostic report. Ultrasound images captured during your appointment areuploaded to the Tricefy system so that they can be accessed remotely by theconsultant radiologist responsible for reporting your scan.
The information processed through Tricefymay include:
- Ultrasound images from your examination.
- Your name or patient identifier.
- Relevant examination details (suchas the date of the scan and type of ultrasound).
This processing allows the consultantradiologist to securely review the images, prepare a clinical report, andreturn the report to the clinic to support your care.
Tricefy operates as a data processoron our behalf and processes personal data only in accordance with ourinstructions and applicable data protection laws. Appropriate technical andorganisational safeguards are in place to protect the confidentiality andsecurity of patient data transmitted through the platform.
Your data is used strictly for thepurpose of medical reporting and clinical care and is not used by Tricefy forindependent purposes.
