Male Pelvic Ultrasound (Bladder, Prostate & Kidneys)
A male pelvic ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive scan that uses sound waves to examine the bladder, prostate and kidneys. It is commonly recommended to investigate urinary symptoms such as difficulty passing urine, frequent urination, blood in the urine, pelvic discomfort or the feeling that your bladder is not emptying completely.
During the examination, the sonographer assesses these organs for signs of abnormalities and may measure how much urine remains in your bladder after you have emptied it. The results can help your healthcare professional investigate the cause of your symptoms and determine whether any further assessment or treatment is required.
At ScanMe, all ultrasound scans are performed by experienced sonographers using modern ultrasound equipment, with every examination reviewed and reported by a Consultant Radiologist.
